What You Can expect?

Anxiety and Trauma Healing Center forms an agreement with you to do our best to help you with your unique situation.

It’s important to communicate openly with us to understand what to expect and address any questions or concerns you may have.

The process is easy, here are some general expectations:

Initial Assessment

During your initial assessment, a mental health professional will gather information about your symptoms, history, and any traumatic experiences or anxiety-related concerns to better understand your unique situation. Based on this assessment, a treatment plan will be created just for you, encompassing therapy, medication if necessary, and other interventions to reduce your anxiety and address your trauma-related issues.

Individualized Treatment Plan: A personalized treatment plan will be created to address your specific needs based on the assessment.

Group Therapy Sessions: Group Therapy is a core component of treatment at the Anxiety and Trauma Healing Center.

Group therapy involves sessions where you participate in therapy alongside others who are also dealing with anxiety or trauma-related challenges.

Individual Therapy Sessions

You will work with a therapist utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), or exposure therapy to help you understand and manage your anxiety, process your traumatic experiences, and develop effective coping strategies.

The center will provide a safe and supportive environment where you can share your experiences without judgment.

Supportive Environment

You’ll be in a safe and supportive environment for you to share your experiences without judgment.

Holistic Approach

You don’t want to be in therapy forever, and we don’t want you to either so you’ll learn mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, art therapy and other techniques to help you on an ongoing basis.

These approaches complement traditional therapy methods and promote overall well-being.

Progress and Adjustments

Progress in healing from anxiety and trauma takes time, and treatment plans are flexible and adjusted based on your needs. Regular progress evaluations will help track your journey and ensure effective treatment.
